Bipolar Disorder Support Group
Bipolar disorder is not just a single disorder, but a category of mood disorders marked by periods of abnormally high energy and euphoria, often accompanied by bouts of clinical depression. This is the place to talk about your experience with bipolar disorder, learn from others' experiences, and find support.

if however, this is an ongoing situation of 'meanness' the you could try to either sit him down and talk about it or try to have a little chat with yourself about how wonderful you are and how you do not need to live with a mean man in your life. I know it is hard. I have been in relationships with many mean ones but sometimes it worth talking to them and you may find out that it is a communication issue that is at the core. you can only do what you are able to do at any given time. I wish you luck with it and hope you have a peaceful christmas. and big fat hugs to you again!
Is communication an option? Sounds like somewhere to start if you care about his relationship. How's it going now?
I feel alone a lot of the time, too. That sort of makes us not so alone, don't you think?
I'm keeping you in my thoughts and hope you find some peace and comfort soon.
I agree that communication is a big part of what makes relationships successful or doomed. We all play a part in that.
Be clear where you end and another begins and set your personal boundaries for the way you want to treat others and how you want to be treated. Study up on the pattern of domestic abuse...the Internet provides good general information. A library or support group also provides information.
Get help and support whether your bf likes it or not. You are allowed to have a social life and see your family...Good luck to you hon all of this is hard work ((((hugs))))
I think it sounds like a very one sided relationship...His side.
To me this should be a give and take relationship. That is not just giving or only taking. Both. Can you share your feelings, concerns with family members? Can you talk to him. If you feel you can;t that's not a good sign by any means. On a personal level over 20 years ago I lived with man who constantly belittled me for 4 months. I know that doesn't sound like a long time but it was. It was constant hurts. Eventually I kicked him out and so glad. Good luck to you Wings.
I'm sorry you are hurting. ((((Hugs))))
