Rain is good, rain is glorious. Rain is the grease to this planet's gears and the life blood to nearly every living thing on it.

It gives me an excuse to stay in if I wanna and it gives me an excuse to go out and jump in puddles like I did as a kid...still do. ~smiles~

I'm sorry it depresses you though, bumsen, would you prefer it bled out of the ground rather then fell from the sky?

Please don't tell me suns howers depress you too...that would just bring me down.

Rainy days and Mondays always get me down.

I have a light box for SAD that I can use on cloudy days if I need to. It really works too!

We have had a drought in California.
Hardly any rain at all this year.

I like the rain but living in Ireland where we get an excess of it I can understand where you're coming from. maybe try fdlstyx' trick and go out and play in it. it is loads of fun and then come in, dry off and have a hot chocolate or something nice for yourself! hugs.

I'm somewhat afraid of getting hit by lightening...but I don't hate it. I mean really what are the odds?

Is there nothing you don't like about the rain? The smells? The beauty it brings? The fact that it does eventually stop?

Whether rain is depressing or enlightening depends on my mood. The smell of cool air -- Spring -- after a rain shower is absolutely breathtaking.

It's the gloomy that gets me. It's raining here too. I'm trying to look forward to the rainbows.

I hate rain. It brings me down in seconds. The only time it's good is if I'm laying in bed listening to it hit the windows, at night. Any other time it's a real downer.
It snowed today!! And it's going to snow tonight and tomorrow!
Yipppppppppppppeee...one last hurrah for Winter. I am so thrilled!
