I'm sitting and steaming mad right now.
I wasn't feeling well. I get a call from moms bf that he's worried about her can I please drive down to her house and stay with her. Her house is an hour away. Because I don't play around with suicidal people I drove it.
It's starts snowing like pea soup almost the whole trip down! My car sucks in the rain let alone snow! So I'm scared shitless and doing 45 in a 65 highway.
Now I only have a limited amount of gas to ration for the month. I'm not sure I can make the trip back home. So now I"m stuck here.
As I've said I have no money right now and there's no food here, like literally no food. No one has money and I have to fight with my brother for a place to sleep. Which might not be that much of a problem since he rarely comes home.
Oh and when I get there my mom is perfectly fine. Not even crying and now she's pissed off cause she wanted to be alone!
Yeah I'm mad. And I don't know what I'm gonna do cause I don't want to stay here for the week.

Can he come up with enough money to get you home since he convinced you to come out there?
They are going through a break up right now. And yes some times she does threaten suicide. But usually she's drunk and just a mess when that happens.
No I didn't call her since he said I shouldn't (don't know why) to just show up.
I don't know if he'll give me gas money or not. Might but it won't be much.
Tell him the money/gas situation, and what a strain it is on you for being convinced to go.
I'm sorry you're in this situation.
But I think you've learned a lesson...check with Mom before making the drive
Make sure there is a way for you to get gas money , so you can get back home, ask if there is food in the house.
The whole situation sounds rotten...sorry you are stuck
A son and a boyfriend and no food? Don't get fooled again, call first, apparently your mother is not afraid to tell you if she needs you or not.

Although he could have told her he was moving out some other time.(If he really is moving out he's said this before.) I don't know why it had to be tonight when it was snowing. He knows how she is.
But I should have called her first. I don't know why I listened to him. But I can see why he would worry it's hard to tell when some one is suicidal or not. Especially some one who's said it before.
But she reassured me that she will call me or go to the hospital first if she feels that way.
So next time I will call her no matter what he says.
I might be able to extort some money just enough to go home.
Don't worry about it SJ. I deeply appreciate the offer but actually one of my friends is lending me the money tomorrow.
Stupidly I posted a much less detailed version of this on FB. Some one actually noticed it and called me.
