I got a therapist and now am wondering what 'm supposed to get out of it. I've seen her once so far and she told me -
1) What I need can't be found in therapy.
2) She is confused by the way I think
I want a therapist who understands me of course. Do I keep trying with this one or move on? She is one of two therapists at the clinic where I get free care. I can't afford to go anywhere else and the other therapist was worse.
What can I reasonably expect to get out of therapy? Besides just someone to complain too?

u have free care so stay with that it not a gurentee that you will find someone out there so work with this person to help them get you think of what and ask her question of what she thinks of what you jhave said and go back and forth that way.
