Does anyone feel imaginery bugs crawling on you/ i must look ridiculous as I sit there slapping myself.....

When I'm psychotic, I feel spiders and daddylong legs crawling under the blankets. I end up scratching myself terribly. It sucks!

Psychosis is controlled by using anti-psychotics and a mood stabilizer like lithium or depakote. No need to suffer!

I had this when in a mixed state but as others have said the meds took care of it.... Big hug for you....x

hmmm..I thought abilify and lamictal ..i thought that would help me and thats what I take. To top it off, I have these disgusing, crunchy carpenter ants having a party every day in my apt.

Yeah. I just pretty much ignore them, but they don't get Very severe/pesky.

I have related mine to mixed episodes, since mine have been around periodically no matter What med I am on. It's annoying and if I am around people I can't help acting, you know, surprised or something, but I try not to slap mine away when people are staring! lol

Yep, tactile hallucinations, I think they're called.

I kinda know not to even look anymore, just sorta quickly rub the area.

My friend's mom who is around 60'ish, just started having these for the first time in her life, and her situation is BAD, she thinks tiny bugs are on her head, in her scalp. Constantly "picks" them out and keeps a trash can next to her so she can throw them away.

They're trying out AP's and anxiety meds on her now.

I've got a pet turtle. Gotta feed him crickets. I have to put them in the feeding tank and every single night I get the willies. Bugs not my thing.

Never had that one and sure glad! Sorry it really has to be horrible
