Anyone taking this? I haven't started it yet. Please tell me if it worked for you. I need something to help me.

I've just started it a couple of weeks ago... I'm still on a low dose... So far so good though... I haven't had any ill effects so I'm hopeful

You'd do better to repost this on the main board Amy... under the 'general bipolar' category... Not too many people come up here and I know that there's other members on it....x

It didn't work for me personally, but a former coworker friend had really good success with it!

It works great for me. I missed it for one week and started to become suicidal.

I used to take it it helped me to sleep but got off of it cuz it didn't help with anger

For me, it was great for depression... gave me lots of energy! However, I had very bad insomnia and restless throughout the day so went back to lithium.

I started a few years ago and I'm on 20mg/day. I love it! It has the least amount of side-effects that I've noticed.

It made me better but not great. I wasn't myself again until I was on Lamictal with the Abilify and my Wellbutrin.... among my other medications...

My pdoc just up'd me to 25mg/day Abilify b/c of paranoid behavior. I hope it works. I'm scared.

I loved the therapeutic effects of Abilify!!! I felt like myself again!!! However, I got really bad akathesia & cognitive impairment from it, so I had to stop taking it.

I've been on it with lamictal for almost 2 years now. I really like it. I don't have auditory hallucinations anymore and I'm much perkier than when on lithium. The only side effect I've had is a little trouble sleeping sometimes buy melatonin takes care of that. And I've not had any behavior or mood issues since I've been on it.

I been taking abilify lamictal and Zoloft for 10 years the meds help but make me tire all the time. I been talking high dose. it really good med. everyone different. I hope it works out for you.
