The Types

I really don't know much about the types of bipolar (type1, 2, active, etc...) I don't even know which type I have. How would I know?

Bipolar 1 is being supposedly....more detached from reality.

bipolar 1 is the most severe it is the one that can come with psychosis

i just know that I was told i'm not text book bipolar

Bipolar 1: it has the really bad lows of depression and really high of mania. you can experience hallucinations and delusions. you also might have suicidal thoughts or thoughts of hurting yourself. a lot of times people with this type are hospitalized at least one point in there life. (I have this type and i was hospitalized).
Bipolar 2: Still has the really bad lows of depression but it has hypomania, which is a less severe form of mania and sometimes its even hard to depict if it is mania.

those are the two main types i know about, i am not sure about the others.
