Hi,
I just wanted to let the members of this group who are grieving the loss of a spouse or partner know that there is a Daily Strength group for Widows & Widowers. There are some things that come up while grieving the loss of a spouse/partner that can only be understood by those grieving that same kind of loss. If that is what you are going through, please know you are not alone, and that you can join us at:
http://www.dailystrength.org/c/Wido...
I am one of the Community Leaders appointed by Daily Strength for the Widows & Widowers Group (you can identify the CLs by the little blue CL badge on our photos). My co-CLs are Shrn and marjoe. If you have any questions, you can always ask us or message us. We stayed on to help others new to this kind of loss.
I joined DS almost 7 years ago, after my husband Cliff died. Being on DS, and specifically being in the Widows & Widowers Group, helped me to rebuild my life. The group is open to anyone grieving a spouse or partner - straight or gay, young or old, married or not. If you are suffering the same kind of loss, we'd like to help. It is also perfectly all right to belong to more than one group here - you don't have to leave the Bereavement group to join us.
I am sorry that anyone needs our group, but also hope it helps some of you to know that we are here and you don't have to go it alone.
Love and Hugs,
Martha

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.
