I don't believe that time does heal all wounds, it just leaves scars as a reminder of what we as people endure throughout our lives. My mom says the same thing to me daily about my dad, that the pain in her heart just won't go away. I don't think that there is ever an answer that anyone can give to that question or statement. I think, as each day passes, we move a little closer to being able to function and enjoy life again, even if it is too small for us to notice at the time. Be strong, if you can't be strong for you, be strong for your lost one. I tell myself that when I think I am weak and can't move forward, that I must be strong for my dad as he was always strong for me throughout my own trials of life. My heart is with you Vader, always.

I understand how you are feeling my mom and dad passed my best friend passed my dog Heidi I had ten years was hit by a car on Dec 29, 2008 and my husband died on Jan 29,2009 in my arms while I was trying to give him CPR. Don't ever feel alone. I listen to a lot of music and it really helps me Sissy's song by Alan Jackson is so beautiful. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1eLe52EH8k
. Also Darius Rucker - If I had wings http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Lq3th89P3M
These two songs are on u-tube they really help and comfort me. I know my husband is smiling down on me saying don't worry bout me! My husband was my soulmate and the most wonderful man that ever walked this earth. We would have been married ten years on Nov 27th 2009. I know my husband would not want me to be sad and cry but I do. I tell myself
I have two choices I can die to live or live to die. I am going to live life to the fullest and try not to morn him I just feel that if I don't let him go he won't be able to rest in peace and make his transition to a new wonderful world. He is with all his family and friends and there is no more pain or worry.
I hope this helps a little!
God Bless
Bonnie
