I am writing this column to let everyone know that when it comes to grief, not everyone understands, including close friends.Noone knew that
Brad was abusing me and i did not not tell anyone. It was just to embarrassing for me to say anything and I wasnt no kid.I was in my 60sand I had no place to go.The family house was sold and it was given to Medicare in order to pay for the nursing home. Then my mother died. She was 84 and my oldest brother who was in the nursing home with her suddenly died one year later.I had noone. My other brother was still working and he had a big mortgage and i couldnt have him bear all of my problems so I stayed.Staying in an abusive relationship is something I choose not to do but I had to do because I was afraid for my pets lives. But when Brad died,,,everyone has abandoned me and some do not know what to say to me.So they do not call or visit and this isolation made me realize this.People do not know how to deal witn
sudden death or suicide. They are overwhelmed at what to say or do.
Some just look at you.And because of this....we have grown apart and
now I realize that some people just dont know the true meaning of\
friendship.When a person dies suddenly...say I am sorry.Give a card and
some money.Cook a cake or pie.Make coffee and offer to help with
the pets and mail. And realize that the grieving person is in a lot of pain and needs some comfort to move on....they need support not your
condemnationn and remember this..How a person dies at sudden
death happens to be none of your business. You were not there and
being told the whole story wont do the grieving person good.Say
something. But all people are stunned and say nothing and that the
made the grieving worse.Vader.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
