The other day I left the house and took the bus downtown.Brad is on medical leave and he hasnt been himself. We are both in shock.I called a the rent control here and told them what the landlord told me about the house. They told me to do the following..To pay the rent in September,at the end of September..ask him what he wants to do.But in seattle..you must be given a written notice and you have got 3 months to vote. This is the law here.If you are a renter..you must be compensated. Now the landlord must give you 2 months rent plus the deposit back.If he gives it back to the bank..the bank will give you another month to look for a place. So I have to pay off that bill. Not let me tell every one what happened.Besides being upset about the house,I was waiting for the bus home.I felt a tap on my shoulder and it was someone whom I worked with.He is homeless now because he told me that he lost his job..then he asked me how Frank was and that is when I burst into tears. He told me that he did not know and neither did the other people that I used to work with.I told him all about Frank and guess what? He said to me"Maybe its better this way"! What does he mean? Does he mean that Frank who was ill is better off dead? How can it be better? WHen he said this,2 buses came and I jumped in the back to get away from him and then in the back of the 358 bus..I sat in a corner and cried.I must have cried for 5 minutes.I was crying so much that a guy came up to me and asked me what was wrong. Then I did remember this--this person did not mean it at all.He doesnt know me that well. But can anyone tell me what do I say if anyone saids to me again? Then I came home and I took a herb bath and it was full of sage.Sage quiets the nerves..but it is messy in the bathtub and then I started to write down ideas to begin this column on MOnday 9/1/2008.Happy Labor Day! And I will write again.I have got a lot of answer. Thanks again from the cats..Tuffy,Kramer and little Tooey--MEOW! CATS RULE!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
One or two people have suggested that thought to me, that my husband was better off, or in a better place. My reply is "Yes. HE is better, but I am definitely NOT."
