I can so relate where from no where you get flash backs of what happened some that are happy and some that hurt so much you want to roll into a ball and cry and cry until there there is no more tears but there is more tears.
Remember you are only in the very early days of losing your mother it will never go away the fact that you miss your mum, but it will become easier and you will remember all the happy times you had together.
I will be honest around the march time about 2 months after losing my dad I would wake up expecting to hear my dad or walk into the house after being out and expecting to hear my dad pottering around the house.
All I can say is take each day as it comes do whats needs to be done if it can wait it can wait.
Everyone griefs in different ways, different triggers our own special memories of the person we loved. For me the thing I really miss is getting a hug from my dad and knowing I had his love and I loved him

I know the feeling of being lost all too well. I lost daddy five years (and one day) before Mom, and I wandered around for months just feeling lost. I'd spent months with my world revolving around Mom and cervical cancer and when it passed, as relieved as I was that she wasn't suffering, I just felt lost all the way around. My husband tried his best to help me, but he had no idea what it was like.
I truly hope that you're feeling better today. I've learned that even now I have my good days and bad days. Yesterday was a bad day. It was like it hit me all over again that Mom is gone and this will be my first Thanksgiving without her. Today is a better day though. It's nice to know that I'm not "alone" and the only one going through this.
