I am going to a new therapist and he is ok.He has given me a new medicine which is advertised on tv.But I have got a question which has haunted me and which noone in seattle seems to know.SUppose the pain just doesnt go away? What does a person do? I have had a great deal of tragedy in my life and in 1962...at the age of 14...when all of this began to happen...my late grandfather and father told me this...no matter what happens never discuss the problems of the house with anyone.People will feel sorry for you and they will sympathaize..but they just cant help..Of! I do wish that my grandfather was here..he was just so right...suppose...the pain of losing someone just dont go away? And suppose you realize this? And I have tried to be a very nice person...but the sad truth is this..On November 1st,1987 at the age of 40...I lost my father.I was 40 and he died in my arms.I held his head as he died and I remember the death rattle and I realized that life would never be the same.I didnt have a homelife like some of my classmates. There was no drink, drugs, alcohol or abuse in my house. My late grandfather forbidden the boys to bring Playboy in the house and when they did...they were caned...We did things some parents did not.My late father took every year on a vacation. In 1962 at the age of 14...I came home with an assignment from history.I asked my father and my grandfather what the New Deal was.I told him about the assignment that I had to write about FDR..My father told me this...vader dont write the report...wait until my vacation..I attended summer school then and one day when I came home..my bags were packed. My father picked up my nieces and my brothers and sister-in-law and we went up to Catskill Mountain. They had a petting zoo there and Susan just loved it..then my father told me that he had a surprize...we then pulled in Hyde Park...It was the birthplace of FDR.Daddy and Mommy and grandfather got tickets and it was just so awesome...and then my father proceeded to tell me about the Great Depression. He saw the statue of FDR and he told me to take his picture..My father stood by the statue and put his arm around it and looked at the the bust of FDR and said"Mr.Roosevelt...Thank You." We were up in Hyde Park for two days...and when my father left he told me that times will never be hard again...3 years before in 1959...my late father heard that one of the greatest comedians who ever lived was going to be on Broadway. In
1959 at the age of 12...I saw The Great One.I
saw Jackie Gleason..in Take Me Along and I am a richer person because of my father.and everyday that I am with Brad..I realize this..no man will ever be like my father and no man will ever match him or his shoes..Suppose the painjust doesnt go away? What does a person do?

That is a very good question. I to have experienced numerous and different things throughout my life but losing my daughter was and is the worst. I wish I had an answer to that question for all of us.

My father was the greatest man alive to me! Ha was kind, wise and level headed, i worshiped the ground that man walked on.He left me 6 years ago march 1st, I was there when he died and brought him back 5 times! I did this while on the phone with 911 and watched him have one seizure and heart attack after another. It took the ambulance 45 min to get to us in the country. I screamed at him when he quit breathing not to leave me! I begged him and he came back. In the end i lost him, At the hospital i thought my life was over when they came and said he was gone! I started screaming at anyone and everyone that i would do cpr on him that he cant leave me!!!!! He was gone! I have never felt pain as i did that night and the thoughts of his face have replayed over and over again. I had to go to a therapist but to no avail. It was stuck in my mind forever, Now this past oct i lost my mom and i have never in my life felt more alone as i do now, or that i belong to no one! But i take it one day at a time, i cope. I have good days and bad days and you will to. But trust me you will never forget, you will never stop remembering but in time the memories will not be as raw as they were in the beggining. Trust yourself to never forget the good times you and your father had and that he is there with you, believe me when i say that! He is now your gaurdian angel. I have 2 now and i miss my parents every day, I long for them to come home, i need them as much as i did before, i was daddys girl and mommas baby! Now i am no ones nothing but i will go on for my kids and grandbabys and my husband, and my mom and dad! If you need any one to talk to, that truley understands please feel free. I am still grieving the loss my my parents and prob always will. One day at a time.....=)
