Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

I don't know if the feeling of loss ever goes away, but we learn to accept it and move forward. You are about at the 2 month mark, so it is all still so fresh. Funerals are interesting; we get lots of support and sympathy there, but then it falls off rapidly.
What has worked for me was to get stuff done, but it drug on for a long time. Finally have most of the estate settled.
Another thing that works for me is to "be the parent to my children that my parents were to me". Since I had good parents, this is a good goal for me. (Others here had nasty parents, so their goal is to be a much better parent to their children than their parents were to them.)
Some people purge as much of their parents stuff as they can, others immerse themselves in it. Figure out what works for you. But don't make rash decisions. You can always shed their belongings later, but once you have discarded them (estate sale, donation to charity) is is almost impossible to get them back.
Gentle hugs
However as time goes on it does get easier.... We don't get over it however we get through it.... What causes such pain at first eventually eases and we can remember all of the wonderful times with our loved ones.... They passed in one day however they lived for so many and we start to remember the wonderful times of them living
Grieving is a process and it's a good thing to let your grief out..... Another hug and a blessing..... xo
it wont be easy but you ca do it...
