Hi,
I'm not exactly new here, but I am new to this group. I've spent time on the widows and widowers group, having lost my husband a year ago in October.
I was doing ok. I got through the first anniversary and started feeling like maybe I could live again.
Then, at the end of October, I lost my beloved son in law in a tragic accident. He and I were very close. He was a son to me. A friend, a helper, a buddy, a confidant.
So my heart has been torn from my chest, and I'm back to the days of early grief.
It actually physically hurts my chest/heart when I think of him. And he seldom leaves my mind.
And my poor daughter, is a widow at 30. It just should not be. But it is.
And it's unbelievable.
It's only been 2 months. And already I can see people looking and acting like I should be doing better. Like it's for them to decide.
I just don't have it in me yet. I've had the life knocked out of me...it just should not be. He should be here.
I'd have given my life for him if I could.
Thanks for reading this.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

You have lost so much so close together
There are groups for mother's who have lost children.... I would look up a group in your area.... They wouldn't be getting together now due to covid however they may still be getting together online
Huge hug and a blessing .....xo
One "bright" spot is that you and your daughter can really be a source of strength for each other as you've been through the widow/loss stage.
Perhaps you and your daughter could look into a grief support group there in your local community? Or online? Try really hard to look past what others think on timing and getting through the stages of loss. It's a very personal thing as well having two very special people back to back loss... that's hard to deal with! I"m praying for you my friend! You are not alone!!
Thank you for understanding the pain in my heart, and my expression of it.
I am sorry for your losses as well.
I hope we all find peace.
