I visited my daughter this morning, but didn't feel at peace when I left the cemetary. Later in the afternoon, I was talking to my daughter, saying the things I didn't say earlier. We have had some bad storms during the last week, but today was sunny and calm. As I was talking to her, the electricity went off for a split second. Just long enough to reset my alarm clock and turn my computer off. It was if someone turned a light switch on and off. It caught me by surprise and my initial reaction was that it was a sign that my daughter heard me. I'm not superstitious or have any belief in cosmic things, so maybe I want to attribute this to her to help me belief she is still with me in some way. Have you had any experiences that seem like more than a coincidence, or a sign from your loved one?
Yes, I believe we receive signs.
I just lost a secret lover under bizarre circumstances. Due to how he died, and a lot of other reasons, if there's anyone he would contact it would be me. I knew I would see him in my dreams, would probably dream he's calling me on my cell phone (something I could accept) and we would talk.
Last night it happened, but a he appeared through a friend who drove me to the burial. Through her, he asked me an odd question. Typically, he didn't ask if I was OK or say sorry. No, instead he asked something to the effect "was the 'pail' empty or emptied?" What pail? Garbage pail (which did have some evidence of a relationship and was emptied)? As he was shot to death with his own gun, is a 'pail' part of the gun? Maybe a 'clip' of rounds?
But I really regret not recognizing and talking to him and will always regret not calling him the night before be was killed which would have been my last opportunity.
Even though this guy was a player/womanizer, to say the least, and left me as he found me, with nothing, in the end, yet I'm considering visiting him andleaving him a rose for Valentine's - more than he ever got me on that day. Go figure.
I have heard that spirits can really do well with electricity....so I'll absolutely bet that was Libra, John...:) hugz Cathrynn X
I was 3 months pregnant for my oldest son when my brother passed away. I did get to tell him that I was pregnant and though he was happy for me he was yet sad because he knew he wouldn't be here in this world to see him born. He just said when he's born give him my name for his middles name. "Steven"
Well he did pass and one day I was watching tv and a psychic was on. Talking about signs and stuff like that. Well I was later driving up the road and I said " ok steve, Show me the sign." Well sure enough straight ahead in front of me on this beautiful sunny day. The most perfect rainbow appeared. My brother the year before had bought me a card for the wallet with the story of Gods rainbow. I was a believer from that day on.
About 2 weeks after my son was born he was sleeping in my room in a bassinett. My husbad was woken up in the middle of the night. My brother sat on the edge of the bed and said how beaufiful my son was. He thanked him for giving my son his middle name.
So yes there are signs and do believe that they are with us even when we don't realize it. God bless.
