Hi,
I’m 23 & recently lost my last surviving parent, my mum in September due to damage from her chemo tablets & getting pneumonia. She was rused to hospital and 3 weeks later she’s just gone. Still hard to wrap my head around and I’m not coping very well.
Any time I start thinking about her/ the fact she’s just not here anymore, I push the thoughts away because I’m so exhausted from crying and feeling so depressed. So feel like I may be complicating my grief even more.
If anyone has any suggestions/ help it would be greatly appreciated as I don’t really have a support network of people I can talk to about this.

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.

My mom and I were very close and it was a very painful loss for me and you're still so young
I would try and find a RL support group..... It can be a good place to share and vent and have others to lean on
I found gratitude a really helpful tool..... and I still do to this day
I agree that as time goes on it does become less painful and we're able to celebrate the life of our loved one instead of just grieve their passing however that takes time
Gentle hug and a blessing.....xo
