She was my parents 4th child out of 5 im the oldest i took care of everything helping parents with arrangements etc we wasnt very close but we did have a nice talk a week before she passed. I dont understand why i havent fully grieved. I get sad when some memories come across my mind but i havent gone through any stages. Seems like i went from shocked to acceptance. Im confused by this

Life has been really hard this past year. I'm really feeling down and alone. I can't talk to my family about my depression and anxiety their not very understanding about it. It's really hitting me since my mother passed a few months ago, plus stress from having to eventually move. Also having my niece coming around who suffers bipolar and refuses to take medication for it. Its been...
Things can hit us at different times.... I found for the first couple of years that special holidays were hard for me.... Another hug and a blessing.....xo
I believe that our grieving process depends on many things. Obviously we will not grieve if we did not know the person at all, and we will grieve more for somebody who was very close to us. So it makes sense that your more distant relationship with your sister could make your grief less intense.
That being said, ... SunCloud is right, it takes time. Allow yourself to grieve your way, and do not worry too much about how others take it. Many years ago we lost a real cool aunt; her kids were the same age as my sister and me (but genders were swapped). My sister was devastated, mom was very sad, and I was not very emotional one way or the other.
I found a bereavement class in real life helped me a lot when my dad died. We did some things to help us explore our emotions; for some of us it was an intense process, for others it was just another day.
Gentle hugs
