I know the pain you are going through and the thoughts that run through your mind. I don't have children and my mom would never be around to see me have them - which makes me question whether I want to bother or not.
I apologize if it sounds like I'm talking too much about my own loss, and again I am truly sorry for your loss. I guess the point I am trying to make is that I do my best to remember the good times we shared. I still talk to her and visit where she rest as often as I can-- sharing with her everything that's happened. I know she is still watching me and my sisters. I find comfort in knowing that she loved and was loved. My thoughts are with you and try to smile if not just once a day, she will always be with you.
may god send down the showers of comfort into you soul
and heart so that it may begin the healing know that your beloved mother is now in his gentle hands......................
It's so hard to figure out how to live without them. I know I talked to mom about absolutely everything. I would feel like I was stalled and frozen cause I could not make a decission on my own. That must sound pathetic, but that's how I felt and sometimes still do.
One of the hardest times is getting through all the first's.
My thoughts and prayers are with you,
God Bless
I've lost both my parents now, and I feel like an orphan -- even at MY age. There are so many things I want to ask or tell them both.
I don't think we ever get "over" it -- things just change. It will be difficult for you at first -- and those "first" holidays & birthdays will hurt -- but you'll get thru it with support. I hope you have some good friends that you can rely on -- and don't forget us here. We'll be with you whenever you need us.
God bless & please take care of yourself. Hugs, Lee
Be there for your remaining family; your husband, brother, children. And let them be there for you.
Gentle hugs
Take care my friend and feel free to message me anytime.
As we wander through life's way -
If we but open eyes to see
The beauty of each day:
The sunrise flushing mountain peaks -
The blushing crimson rose.
The diamond clustered spider's web,
The stream that silver flows:
The golden leaves that Autumn brings,
The rainbowed pearl of dew -
But lovlier yet, the gift I have....
A Mom as dear as you!
