A great man, who was the president of a community college, died on January 13th. I learned on his passing because I've been checking the local obits more these. He was a mentor and dear friend. One of the only people I felt truly had my best interest at heart. His memorial was today, Jan 24, 2026. I'm just learning about his memorial at 9:30 pm. I read online tributes from colleagues and family....but my heart does not have the public words to display right now. I should have known he wasn't well, because his wife sent the Christmas card last season (first time ever in the 22 years I've known him). His love, encouragement and zest for life will forever be in my heart......

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.
