Bereavement Support Group
Are you grieving the loss of a loved one? Whether you lost someone recently or it's been years, grief and its accompanying emotions can be complicated to cope with. Join our online support group to connect with a supportive group of people who really know how you feel. Help is right here.
I see that you are new to DS today, so welcome! I am sorry for the circumstances that brought you here, but am pleased to meet you.
DS has many support groups, and there is no limit to the number you can join. The only limit is time, the more time you invest in a group (to a point!) the more you will be able to get out of the group. There are a couple of groups you might want to consider:
http://www.dailystrength.org/c/Families-and-Friends-Affected-By-Suicide/support-group
This group is for family and friends of suicide. They are not very active, but they have a sad distinction of understanding what you have gone through.
http://www.dailystrength.org/c/Depression/forum
This is the depression group. I am a member there, and have found a great number of good people who understand and have helped me through my issues.
Again, I am sorry for the circumstances under which you have come here, but pleased to meet you.
Gentle hugs
Big Hugs to you and please share your pain with us.
I am also a grieving mother--I lost my 19 year old almost ten years ago...I still think of him daily and miss him so much. The missing is always, but the raw stabbing pain of grief subsides...you will always grieve this loss...so hard for a mother...
9 years ago a group of grieving women/mothers met here on FB and formed a group called ForMomsOnly. They are truly my
lifeline through this journey.
Here is a link:

Take gentle care of you,
AnnM, president of ForMomsOnly, mother of Daren
All I can really say is continue taking it one day at a time. Some days will be better than others.
Hugs & Prayers
HUGS.
