Today is the painful day that my elderly neighbor will attend her grandaughter's funeral. In the coming days, her family will be going back home and resuming their lives. I have had the chance to talk with her (Jackie) and she seems to be holding up, as well as can be expected. Once she's alone again, I have figured out something we can do so, she will have a way, to not feel so isolated. She had purchased a computer awile ago and had internet but no one, including myself, would take the time to show her how to use it so, she put it away. Even though I'm not in her family, I feel a bit guilty and inconsiderate, just knowing of how many days and nights, my "friend" has been forced to spend alone. I intend to change that, real soon! My Father's former roomate, at the nursing home, only has a brother and sister-in-law in the area, that reguarly visit him on Saturday or Sunday. I had gotten attached to this sweet, 82 yr. old, bedridden, almost blind man so, when my Father passed, I made a promise to myself to visit him at least once a week. His face lights up everytime he hears my voice. He tells me not to spend my money buying him goodies and that my company is all he needs. God, or my Dad, or both are constantly showing me that my life still has a purpose, and I need to remain here, to help others. So from now on, not only will I get in my car to visit the nursing home, I will walk next door more often! In the near future, I will try to persuade Jackie to join us on this site. I'm sure you will welcome her, as you did me. Thanks again ya'll(southen talk).

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
my prayers that you will be able to have peace and strength to keep company with your friends.
Regards.
