I had to write this column because I did promise Frank that after 5 years that I would and this is a subject that people dont talk about. It is called forgivness and I am reading a fantastic book.."When Bad Thing happen to Nice People." It is by Rabbi Kushner ( I believe) and I did something today and I have never done it...I got down on my knees.I thanked Our Lord to be born in this country and to be alive in an era that noone can explain. And I did something that the Rabbi stated in his book...I did something that was our to ordinary...I FORGAVE GOD...Now Billy Graham states that God cant be forgiven..but after losing so many people and being left alone at 8,,I tend to differ. And I asked for forgiveness as well. And I forgave so many people.I forgave that drunk driver who killed Franks first love.He is on parole now and wants to come out..but the people in the community say no..Remember alcohol is a drug and this why Carrie Nation had it banned..Alcohol makes men and women fools and makes them act down silly. Then I forgave a great many people whom I havent seen in ages and I FORGAVE GOD..I TOLD HIM THAT SOMETIMES THINGS HAPPEN FOR THE BEST.AND I KNOW THAT FRANK IS IN A BETTER PLACE BECAUSE I FOUND THAT NOTE.MY SAINTED BROTHER WAS TERMINALLY ILL AND HE KEPT IT FROM THE FAMILY...HE DID NOT WANT ME TO TAKE CARE OF HIM AND HE DIDNT EVEN TELL STANLEY AND HE TOLD THE DOCTOR THAT HE DID NOT WANT THE CHEMO AND THAT HE WOULD RATHER LIVE A FEW MORE MONTHS WITHOUT IT...WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU FOUND OUT THAT YOU ONLY HAVE 4 months to live? Frank maintained his sense of humour and his sense of adventure.Frank at 68...loved to learn and he loved to read the paper. He loved to collect things of baseball too and i realize that I was also selfish...I FORGAVE GOD FOR TAKING FRANK AWAY AND I TOLD GOD THAT I AM SORRY IF I DID HURT ANYONE BECAUSE SOMETIMES THINGS WITH BRAD GET ME ANGRY AND I WILL LEARN TO TALK BETTER THIS IS A PROMISE..AND i am crying because you know this;GOD HAS FORGIVEN ME AND WITH MESSAGE..I HOPE THAT IS NOT OFFENSIVE AT ALL.BUT WE MUST LEARN TO REACH OUT AND HELP OTHERS AS OF NOW...SO LETS START FORGIVING.AND LETS START LOVING AND LETS REALIZE THAT THE DEAD SEE AND THEY ARE ALWAYS WATCHING US AND THEY ARE IN A BETTER PLACE AND I WILL SEE FRANK AGAIN...VADER.

I lost my father when I was young and I know how confusing loss can be. I realized a long time ago that it truely is gods world not ours. I like what you wrote about forgivness. I forgive others for harming me but when they continue to harm I wont forgive because they do it again. I know Jesus turned the other cheek but I have a hard time always turning the other cheek just to get hit again. My ex took my child from me and I have not seen him in months. It is killing me. am I suppose to forgive that? take care I will pray for us

I am sorry that I didnt get to reply to you earlies..but today is Sunday the 22nd and I had to attend a lecture..(which was late) anyway for this I am so sorry.I share your loss and I believe when anyone loses a father or parent no matter what age..it can be confusing. My late mother didnt know how to write a check and she didnt know how to use a debit card. She was like a child and she was always overdrawn at the bank...I dont know what to say about your child...except I am so sorry that this has happened..But I will continue to Pray for you and I hope that things will get better for you..and you know something..(there are some people I dont want to forgive)...but I had to (you see) they probably have forgotten about it..Vader.
