i began this column because I have noticed when go to these funeral homes today they act like jerks. They do not know how to act and speak and some of them are very offensive.I am an Italian and one of the things that we dont like at all if you wear red to the funeral home.Red is a very nice colour but when you mourning.it is a sign of being a mistress (and this is true) and a sign of bad luck.I also noticed that people today just do not talk well. Some people today will say anything that comes to their heads and this happened to me recently.First of all..when you go to a funeral home..please sign the book.If you do not know the person..come in and view the body..give your condolsences and leave. There is no point in hanging around.Secondly..do not say swear words at the home because it is offensive.I mean what is the point? If you want to argue stay home!Thirdly..if you have got little children..please do me and the others a big favor..please have them stay home.A funeral home is no place for a little child and they have got no books there or places to play. They also tend to get bored and when they happens..well you know! So leave the kids home!I saw this after the death and it was horrible.I mean who is she? She didnt even ask?
But when you come to the funeral home..please at least have consideration..do not talk about subjects that will only start fights okay.Leave the money and political discussions at home. These discussions at this time of grief will only cause hurt feelings and this is not necessary..so please keep your opinions to yourself under the grief person is able to stand a conversation about it..not before. Thanks to all from vader.

I had no idea these things were going on at funeral parlors. Inappropriate to say the least.

Well I never had that experience. My funeral home was so loving and comforting. They went out of their way to be certain the family was not disrupted in any way. They work hard

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
