Can't believe that today marks the 2 month anniversary of my dad's passing. I still cry everyday for him. It's seems like his passing happened yesterday but then sometimes if feels like I haven't seen him in so long. My 6 six year old son asked me to guess what he was going to give me for Christmas this year. When I asked him what it was, he said he was going to bring Pat (that's what he called his grandpa) down from heaven and that would be my Christmas present. Just had to share this. Thanks.

time seems all messed up for me too. going on 2 weeks now from my dad's passing and sometimes it feels like 2 years have gone by not 2 wks, other days it's as fresh as if it just happened this morning... i think its a coping mechanism our brain does, when it seems like it's been a long time, since at least for me it gives me a couple hours of relief from being so sad. but, it always still hits me several times a day that he's gone and it is such a horrible feeling. that is really sweet what your son said to you!! my soon to be neice said something to her dad (who will be my brother in law soon) when he wastrying to explain to her why we were all so sad, she told him matter of factly that we shouldn't be sad, because we will see him again when we all go to heaven :) she is five and sometimes kids are so honest, you wonder if they know something we don't know? maybe your son will be bringing you a sign from your dad for Christmas? i keep hoping for a sign from my dad... haven't gotten one yet but i'm going to keep hoping and praying for one!!

It will be a month next week that i lost my mom. It feels like time is standing still and like it was yesterday all at the same time. I miss her so much Im glad your son is there for you when you need him most. God Bless.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
