Brad told me today that he intends to buy a xmas tree.Under this tree,he will put xmas gifts and this is something that we have never done.SO much can happen in a life and my late grandfather told me this before he died..he said"Vader..remember this..life begins at 50 and you will you will be able to do stuff that you have dreamed of.Then he said.."save for your retirement...kid..hard times are coming." Did my late grandfather know of what was going to happen? He died in April of 1983.How did he know? Brad and I have had a great deal of problems this year..in fact..I left him and was at a hotel downtown..now we are letting each other do things..I hate the golf course..It is so boring!Guess what? I took Brad to Victoria Secret and guess what?He walked out! He told me that he was embarrassed and refuses to go shopping with me anymore! Did I do the right thing? Many single women do this..but we are getting a tree and presents and I cannot wait.

Some men can do that "type" of shopping and some cannot. My husband would always go there shopping for me at the holidays, but he met our plumber a few years ago at the mall, and the plumber said his wife was going in there, and he was in NO way going in there, so it's o.k. now you KNOW and understand that there is nothing wrong, he just doesn't like being in that position. I think the Christmas tree is a great idea We always had one, but since my husband passed away 17 mths. ago I just cannot get back into the spirit. Hopefully, some year again. I enjoy my childrens trees. they are older now. Your grandfather was a smart man. The economy is in such tough shape right now. Hopefully, it turns around, for all of us. Wishing you a great holiday season, and enjoy that tree. After losing my husband I realize that we should have enjoyed the litte things in life MORE. Don't make that mistake.... Hugs, Alice

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
