On the one year anniversary..I cried.I cried so much that I almost vomited and I did...Then I shook all over.The sweat came over all over the face.You see I smelt Brads aftershave in the bathroom.I took a bubble bath and I cried.Then i looked at Brads picture and shrine I have to him and I cried.I will always love Brad...but the 12 years is over.I brought a white balloon and i left is go up to the sky...then all of a sudden...typical seattle weather...it began to rain and i felt Brads tears.I will never love anyone person like I loved Brad again and i am still in pain but when people told me to get over it....i cry for the pain of this separation is brutual.What do I do now? How will i go on? How will I live the rest of my life at 62? I want to go back to school and study jazz singing but Brad told me tht I was too old and noone would hire me.Who went back to school in the 60s and got a degree? Please contact me and tell me.The anniversary was hard enough.For i had to let him go.
I think if thats what you want,you should persue it.. but we do live in a tough economic time right now, and they are firing young, qualified people with degrees everyday. They are not supposed to discriminate against you for your age, but we all know they do, and hiring someone who is already over the retirement age, is a big risk.
I think you may find more satisfaction singing somewhere you can bring joy to others. Churches have some great chiors often, or people in the hosptial or nursing homes, childrens hospitals.
I wish you all the luck in the world... And believe if you ask god , he will find a way..
