I have lost many, many close and dear friends and family members and you do never 'get over it'. But the pain does eventually become bearable. Its just when one thing after another just hits and hits and hits, you just cant cope and when someone says something stupid like 'isnt it time you moved on?' you just want to scream and shout and f***in kill them.
The love of my life was murdered. I dont know if thats any worse than suicide? Cos it wasnt his choice... but I do know how you feel, I do feel for you, and I do think you will never get over it, but equally you should never have to, nor ever forget him or the happy times you shared. Its only a separation - you will be together again in time. Love to you friend xx
The left half is right---you never completely get "over it", but the pain gets more bearable over time... I have lost many of important family and friends in the last few months--- it is never easy, but time heals all wounds---I remember in high school that a friend of mine lost his father to suicide---just about my whole senior class showed up for the funeral--- I am sure that the family REALLY appreciated that!! It is important to have patient and understanding friends through this difficult time--- You will be in my prayers!!!

I pray for you my dear friend.
