Each day is a gift, use your gift to continue the legacy that those who have passed on have left us to do good to those who are around us.
It's great that you are the "rock" that others lean upon, but try really hard to focus on self care and taking care of you.
I totally understand, my oldest sister died 10 years ago suddenly in her sleep and my middle sister has been struggling with a cancer diagnosis for the past 7 years and they are talking hospice soon. I get it. It sucks big time!! Praying for you my friend as we journey on together being the "rock". Take care of yourself too.
You're in my prayers!
I cannot alleviate your pain, but I can give you guidance that will matter. I was with my wife continuously during her year of struggle. I literally had my arms around her at the moment of her death. I am still crushed by her loss and paralyzed with grief, but I have one enduring strength to fall back on. I can look myself in the mirror and know that I gave her everything I had even during the most unbearable low points of the struggle. Seize the time you have left with your aunt so that your look in the mirror will always give you that same strength.
