Mama's gone 3 1/2 years but today is the fourth Mother's Day without her. This past week, I've been unusually emotional - literally "kick in the gut" feelings of grief but not related to any Mother's Day ads or anticipation. My grief has simply deepened. I weep out loud. I've been recalling the path her body took when leaving the house after her passing. I'm supposed to be driven by a frend to the cemetery today - Mama's grave is an hour away. But everything has gone wrong. No flowers available last night. My friend says just clean the grave - but I can't not bring flowers - on Mother's Day when I can't get there often?
My car has to be checked for potential problem before leaving. I can't even find the usual gardening tools. I usually leave early to avoid traffic - and would have been there my now. Unsure what will transpire - but my heart is more broken instead of on the mend. My heart goes out to all of you, as well, this Mother's Day.

This is my second mother's day without my mom. It's so hard to just function and doing daily tasks. I'm working at the hospital today but have not had any patients which is probably a good thing. I feel very emotional as well. I don't have a grave to visit. My mother was cremated and my sister who lives in another state has the ashes. I feel for you today. This too shall pass is the best advice I can give you except to also tell you to remember you are doing the best you can and remember to take good care of yourself. God Bless you.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
