I've been away for quite awhile - partly due to schedule and computer problems. I was planning on coming here anyway just because the grief isn't going away. It's increasing with time. Mama will be gone four years next week. I went to her grave but lately I'm ridden with guilt over doctor-prescribed medication I allowed towards the end. Family members who are docs assured me afterward she died it was okay but I don't think Mama would have wanted it. I can't undo my decisions, and all I have is regret and grief. I'm depressed and just go through the motions.
I'm hoping my many friends here are doing okay.
Missing Mama.

Sending hugs. I know how guilt can creep up as one of the emotions from time to time..but it is such an unproductive one. No matter if the decisions we or anyone made, the end result doesn't change and it hurts just the same. Know that your Mom doesn't hold you responsible for anything and wants you to find a way to be happy somehow, someway. We are always here to listen.

Feeling of guilt are part of the grieving process. Learning to forgive yourself for what you think you did or did not do, is a choice. Write down all those things, read them over, and then set them alight in the garden. Let them go - we all do things we wish we had not done, but it serves no purpose to carry them. There are so many "right" things you can do for yourself and others, don't miss the opportunities. Peace be with you xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
