Pretty much everyone that I've loved is gone other than some wonderful friends
I really try and interrupt my grief at times in order to think about the great times and although they're what I miss they also give me reason to smile
I find now I can laugh at times thinking about loved ones I've lost as well as mourn them
I agree that peer support can help a great deal
I think it depends on what state a person is in
If one is in despair/depression I do think you should seek medical attention
I've heard that losing a child is the greatest loss there is Arf

Ever since then I have used the 'cardinal bird' as a messenger from Heaven which is a family member visiting when I see one...example, on July 20th I said to my son 'today is my Mom's Birthday" not two seconds later a male Cardinal arrived in my Butterfly bush!
