This epidemic has targeted humans of all ages and races and breaking so many hearts I pray for a change to come soon. We so often get caught up in our work,, we forget to take a break.. your so right! I pray for us all and I hope he is soaring in peace.

I wish you peace and love in your continued healing of the loss of your brother. I understand the pain of losing a brother. Like others, I’ll also say don’t internalize it to guilt yourself. I also did that having an argument with my 16 year old brother a week before he was killed and as I tell you this 13 years later it makes me tear up just saying that. We are human and we must live despite their passing. I can’t say it gets easier I can say for me I’ve learned to live with out him. You’ll find peace in your own time just give yourself the permission to take the time no matter how long. :)

Sissyofasnowboarder, thank you so much for the kind words and support. I’m so sorry, we had to endure similar hurt and pain. The loss of a brother is painful.. I can’t imagine how you felt losing him at such a very young age.. I’m so so sorry again for your loss! Why do we do this to ourselves, feel guilty and carry it with us for years? Easy to ask this question.. hard to accept the answers and apply them. Whyyyy??? Someone said “We don’t forget them, just things from everyday life come to the forefront and memories get pushed to the side and time will teach you to live again”. I hope they both know, we love them and will never forget them!! Thank you for sharing this time with me. Your words have comforted me during this time.. the blow felt a little lighter this year as I imagined his new life happier than it was on earth and all I ever wanted to do was see him happy! I write this and I still feel kinda numb but your words fill my thoughts with hope. Thank you more than words can express!!
