like you I had a very beautiful experience with my fathers death as well and for me there was something very holy taking place within the room even my nephew who is not spiritual at all said that he felt something that he had never experienced before now he is questioning gods presence it is something that can not be described or explained it just is.
right now I have a mother and brother who both have brain tumors
one has cancer the other non-operable both prognosis is dim.
so my grief journey has not ended it will continue for me one by one. god bless you................
I lost my mother less than three weeks ago and the pain cuts deep, I know. The funny thing is I thought I would be able to handle this grief as I am a licensed therapist, but everything I have told my clients over the years just goes out the window when I think of my mom. She was my best friend. The thing that seems to help me most is to listen to music. She loved Christian music and I find I feel close to her when I listen to the songs she loved. I also feel at peace that she knows my pain and is waiting for the time my family will be reunited. everyone grieves in a different way but please know your family would not want you to be prostrated with grief. You will be in my prayers. Rhonda
I hope that all of you have a blessed holiday season. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
