It's the second without my Mom but it seems to hurt more this year. I had such a heartbreak feeling this Christmas, I intended on posting here Christmas Eve / Day...but never did. I got the tree up - not nearly as elaborate as when she was here - but I SO miss her not being here to share it. I ache to tears for my mother this year, and my heart goes out to all of you celebrating holidays without a loved one at this time.
My son's teacher came over a few days before Christmas......she put our tree up.....at first..I wanted NO PART IN IT......But later....decided....I wanted to honor daddy.....by putting up only his 4 ornaments....and the bows/ bulbs...that he had helped me pick out last year..think he knew...he would never see it...all put together..yet..in a weird way....he guided my hands....and everything was placed.....in just the right places....he sure could trim a tree....and HE DID!!!!!!
IDK....Its so hard....and what will become of our aching hearts?
I worry......because I have been so angry...bitter..and depressed.....would he want this? NO WAY!!!!!!!! But.......he's not here...to comfort me.....and this is how I feel.....maybe..someday....I will find peace....I pray we all do.....big hugs hunny....years.....
