Love is an ever changing thing.
I think that the love we have for our departed relatives ultimately becomes that warm feeling we have when we think of them. Rather than asking them for advice like we used to do, that question becomes "What would dad have done?"
It sounds like your love for your father is changing shape, and that is OK!
Gentle hugs
I just had a bad crying spell last month, a couple of days of crying and it had been a while. Grief will come back and hit us hard and that's just how it goes. I definitely feel your pain, I feel the exact same way. I still feel like life has no purpose. I hate life and am still extremely angry that she is not here. I'm angry at the unfairness that as soon as I get a car she is not here to enjoy it and share it with me.
I am the same as you, a zombie, dead inside and just going through the motions of life. It's been about the same amount of time for me and my longing for my sister gets worse everyday. I can't believe I will never see her again for the rest of my life. I woke up this morning with that first thought on my mind. It's hard, and it has not even been a year yet for you.
Nothing is wrong. Your emotions are changing and that's OK.
