Bereavement in Japan

Usually, we come here to share our feelings about our personal losses. But tonight, while watching more news reports about the disaster in Japan, I had to come here - thinking of the grief of a nation - even if so very far away. Grief has no nationality - and this radiation and tsunami disaster could affect so many in and out of Japan. A moment of acknowledgement for those who are suffering losses, illness, or searching for lost loved ones.

So true. I can understand completely as at the moment I am living in Japan and I was in Tokyo at the time of the Earthquake and still there now. There is a great feeling of solemnity amongst the Japanese people. Japan is a group society, and family is a very important part of that, so when something happens to one member of the group it is felt by everyone. My Japanese friends are worried about the ongoing situation but they are being resilliant and they are trying to help the people displaced and injured in the Earthquake and Tsunami.

yes I agree with all the grief and suffering that is going on in the world Japan,middle east turmoil i believe that we are in the midsts of sorrows in the world now and all need our prayers and hope that we all are more comforting to those around us. My prayers are with you Japan and I share in your sorrows at this time.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
