I will pray today for all the families and for the souls who perished on this day at the two sites. The WTC and the Pentagon. I think today should be declared a national day of mourning. Not a day for memorial day shopping sales or barbacues. A day for sitting shivah, going to mass or whatever religious service we believe in or for reflection.

Most folks who do not live in NYC nor Wash.D.C do not know what it was like. They mostly, have a get over it attitude. Maybe they are just put out a little at the airport, but believe me, I hope they never have to smell the odor of burning flesh for more than two solid weeks in their town. It is not 9/11 - It is the September 11Th, Terrorist Attack on America.

Being a New Yorker I agree with you all the way. 110%. I had a niece and nephew there about 2 blocksa away when it happened and had no contact to see if they were OK., Thank god they were but my niece was pregnant and had to walk the bridge to get out of the city. Yes, her and the baby were fine and we call her the angel child. God bless everyone who mourns their loved ones on this day.

My name is vader.I worked in New York for 25 years and relocated in seattle in 1995.My brother Stanley was suppose to do work in The Tower.When I heard the news and saw the news,I screamed! How could anyone attack us? What have we done? When Frank called me..he was hysterical.He couldnt get in touch with Stanley.The phone service to NY was nill.But we finally got in touch 16 hours later.The place where he was suppose to work on that day was off! They had a mice problem and had to be off for the guy who kills these pest.I am just so grateful that he wasnt in that tower.I will always remember that day.It was a day of horrors for me and a day of infamy.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
