I've read it here and often hear it said that our departed loved ones are with us "in spirit." I haven't felt that with either of my parents and was sure that, if anyone, I'd feel Mama's presence for sure. I have a lump in my throat as I type this. There's NO WAY she wouldn't be here or give me a sign, if she could. All I can remember are her words in her last months: "God protect my child, in places I can't be, don't let her do the wrong thing." I've made mistake after mistake. I've wished for a sign (not that I deserve or am entitled to one.) But I never have felt Mama here in spirit, as some of you say. Why? Is it me? What is it you feel? Crying right now.

I understand what your going through. I have looked for that moment of knowing my mom is around me. I look for signs to see her. But nothing has been this moment of ahhh. I felt someone brushing my head at my dads house but since then , nothing. Its like its all gone. I would give anything to feel that moment. I think they are here and around us but I know what you mean to actually have that feeling. I feel ya.

I asked My Mother many years ago , when a friend of mine lost her Mom . "Mom, please dont ever die, but if you do..give me some sort of sign that you are with me and "okay". My Mom was a very religious Woman and I can still hear her answer to me on that day. "* I surely will, If I can*" She died a few years later, sadly. And I guess she "Couldn't" it's been 28 years now and I still have never stopped hoping wishing or praying that she "could"

I've been wanting signs too and I've been making mistakes big time too.Shortly after my husband died the tv he used to watch would just shut off especially about the time of night he died.I thought it was an electrical problem but looking back I think it was a sign. But it doesnt ease my grief or lonliness.I've also heard that when you are so consumed with grief it is hard for them to get through to you and that probably my problem. In too much of a dark cloud,And right now it's not so much the grief i feel but just trying to survive in this world without my loved ones.I'm doing a shitty job, made so many stupid mistakes and just made another huge one by coming to Ga cuz I wanted to be with my son so desperately. And now I've put myself through the stress of being in a foreign town with hardly any $ and no job.I'm scared out of my wits and I cant even pray anymore.I wasnt doing good in Denver alone but being here I feel is worse.more stressful.I think this stress is going to kill me eventually.

i am going to say that i have had signs...but am so grief stricken that i do not take them seriously......I just want to know that we, my husband and myself are going to be together again.....and that is all I want to know....one sign I got was He needed prayers....so I am under the impression we are to pray for them to get to where they need to go..or in their favour...it is very hard...and i feel very desperate even whilst praying.....gives no relief........IT IS HELL ON EARTH FOR ME...THAT HE IS NOT HERE...but mainly because I am having a hard time with faith.....and i feel guilty about that and undeserving of signs....but i think i have gotten them...but do not want to speak to soon or go into detaillll because i said i woudln't if i got them....there is some honour in the grief though...these were worthy people and so loved obviously......the mystery of life is soooo cruel to me.....it is soooo cruelll not being able to communicate etc.....so, so cruel... xoxoxo x

I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. I LOST MY GRANDFATHER 14 YRS AGO AND I SEEN HIM AT THE MINUTE HE DIED. HE LIVED 3 WEEKS TO THE DAY AFTER WE FOUND OUT HE HAD LUNG CANCER AND IT'S STILL HARD TO THIS DAY. MY BOYFRIEND'S BIG BROTHER WAS MURDERED BACK IN 2003 AND THE DAY HE DIED WE WERE ALL SITTING AT THE KITCHEN TABLE AND THE MICROWAVE CAME ON BY ITSSELF. THAT'S JUST SPOOKY BUT WE KNEW HE WAS WATCHING OVER US.

It is not just you, I lost my partner of 23 yrs 3 weeks ago today, I have yet to feel anything, and I am trying to, looking everyhwere. But I lost my mom 22yrs ago and still have not gotten a sign, the same as when I lost my brother almost 13 yrs ago, and my dad and uncle, so it must be me too. My partner and I actually talked about this years ago, said hwoever goes 1st will give a sign that they are ok, always be there for the other, lay beside at night, and nothing, so I feel like GOD does not like me, so don't feel so bad.

I lost my mom in July last summer right away I felt the same way I wanted so bad to see her in a dream and months went by that I had dreams about her but not her in them and it made me feel hopeless I just wanted to see her one last time. Then last week I had a dream about this angel I have her when she was dying of cancer and it grew and shown bright with her hands out to me like Mary. Mary visited my mother before she died. I believe it was both of them my mom being brought to me by Mary. After I woke up I felt completely at peace. My son (her only grandchild) was 4 months old when she passed and to this day he points at her pictures he a year old now and I ask him to show me grandma and he does like he knows her. I think it is a sign she visits him because he is so pure. He even gives her picture kisses. Signs are not always what u think they are...keep looking.
