I have so many unanswered questions myself!! Why make someone that has been so good to everyone all their life, suffer?? I just don’t get it. I consider myself to be a believer, but I plan on sitting down under a tree and asking a lot of questions myself. God Bless you with all your questions as well.

I am so sorry!! for your losses. When my mom died after caring for her for eight years, I went to GriefShare. It’s offered nationwide so there’s a good chance there’s one in your area. It really helped me. It might help you too. There I met other people who were going through the same emotions that I was and that had the same questions I had. It also gave me strength and it was very healing. Sometimes it just helped to talk. I have found the times in my life when I have been the closest to the Lord, stilled by the small voice, and felt the peace that surpasses all understanding is when I am putting him first; reading His word (start with 9 verses, takes about two minutes, thank Him for giving you the desires of your heart and ask Him to speak to you through His word), praying and praising even when I don’t feel like I have anything to praise Him for. I definitely know that God is always present. I don't believe he causes us pain, but comforts us for the pain we have. I must admit I wasn't very pleased with the loss of my husband. Like so many others he was a good man. I felt so lost and frightened. I had never lived alone. Left my parents home to marry my husband. That was my focus without him. I learned that I could trust my own judgment. I also learned that I'll miss him for the rest of my life. I am so very sorry for our loss. It's been the most difficult thing I ever imagined.
