(This has details of my nightmares, so please don't read it if you find that sort of thing to be upsetting. I don't want to upset anyone)
My best friend passed away suddenly a few weeks ago, and I keep having these nightmares about her. I'm losing a LOT of sleep because of it, and the images from my nightmares stick with me all day. Last night I dreamed that I was at her funeral, and she was there in the casket. Her body was laying as if someone had just dumped her in there and I could see her skin turning black on her fingers. No one was recognizable, and there were two elderly women kneeling by her casket and praying. Suddenly, her body shifted and she sat up. But, she wasn't alive. They forced her back down and walked away. Somehow we were at the cemetery next, and it was time to bury her. But, her casket was still open at the grave-site. Suddenly, her body shifted again, and she once again sat up, but this time her eyes opened and she looked at me. No one noticed or even seemed to care. I turned and walked away, and somehow the cemetery was along an ocean beach. I got onto the boat with her mom and her son, and we set off towards the horizon. I looked back and she was watching us go, with her hand reaching out to us. She just sat there in her coffin, obviously dead, but very much alive. No one else noticed or seemed to care. I began calling out to her, but no noise came from me. That's when my husband woke me up and said that my screaming woke him up.
All day long I've had these images of her like that. Her flesh rotting and her eyes looking as though she were still alive.
Other dreams I've had were worse, and some just bothered me, but I wouldn't call them disturbing. One I've had several times was her and I standing at the cemetery and we are about to hug each other. Just as I do, she turns into mist and is carried off into the wind.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
I never had any dreams like this at all after my son died. Normally I don't remember any of my dreams. Kinda wierd.
I am sorry you lost your friend, seems you always save a place for them in your heart. ((((hugs)))) Shelley
I am very sorry for your situation, and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
I don't have anyone now. My husband is abusive, and my only other "friend" thinks I need to just get over it. She's much too busy to listen to anything, and even when she tries to be there for me, she always has to take another call or when we talk on messenger she walks away and never replies. My friend who passed away was the only person I really could call a true "friend". =(
