Tomorrow is my mom's birthday, she would be 64, she died 7 months ago of pancreatic cancer. I miss her so much, this will be the first time I can't call you and tell you happy birthday, it all seems so unfair, but you always taught me life isnt fair. I have so much crap going on in my life and I miss you talking to you and sharing with you. Its rough it does get a little easier each day, I just hold on to the promise from God that we will meet again someday. I LOVE YOU!!!

I am sorry for your loss. I will be 63 next week and worry about my children when I am not here.
My little girls birthday and the anniversary date are still very hard for me and what keeps me going is my children here and hanging on to God's promise we will be together again some day.
Keep sharing here and talk and write to her too. I do not think a mother and her child can ever really be apart. We are a part of each other and our love never ends.
Her love will never leave you and she lives in your love.

Thanks lady, I'm not going to lie it has been very hard when that one constant through your whole life is taken away from you. My mom was always there with words of encouragement and tho I let her down and did stupid things she loved me unconditionally and thats something I think only a mother can do. (im sure dads can to but i dont have one of them kind of dads) I only wish and hope I can be half the mom to my daughter that my mother was to me

My guy died at the end of June. His birthday was Monday. I went to the cemetery and had a little party (a pastry and his favorite gatorade). It was healing. If you can find something to celebrate instead of sorrowing, it could help you heal and through those rough days.

My dad's birthday is coming up on October 13th. We just lost him on July 15th. He was only 64 and died of pancreatic cancer as well. It has been so hard. All days are hard but I'm really scared about October. It's Dad's birthday month and my birthday is the 29th. I also have other friends as well as my Dad's good friend who have birthdays in October. Plus we all love Halloween and there is always something going on and I will be sad that he won't see my 10 year old daughter in her Halloween costume and things like that. I don't know what to do with all of these emotions and all the pain. I have been struggling with what to do to commemorate his birthday this year. I think it's important for all of us - especially me and Mom to do something for him. We of course need to all be together on his birthday like we always made a point of doing to celebrate. I even thought about making a cake or cupcakes like we always did. I don't know if this will be too much for my little girl or if she will understand or maybe it will help her as well. So many questions and not enough answers. That's how I feel - full of pain, full of sorrow, and full of so many questions.
