My Embarrassing Babysitter Routine

So, as I've mentioned in the past that I wear bedwetting diapers, specifically Goodnites; Although I have not mentioned that I am still "Babysat". Yes, I'm 15 years old and I should be able to take care of myself but my parents do not think so since I still wet the bed. So, my babysitter comes over when my parents are not home, which is usually every Tuesday and Thursday. The part that I complain about is that she helps monitor my bedwetting... and she's only 5 years older than me. So, you know there is automatically some minor teasing but It's not really anything that bothers me too much. When I say she monitors my bedwetting, she only tells me what time I need to put on the diaper, she checks me while I'm asleep if I've wet or not by smelling or by looking, and she also will wake me and help me change out of a wet diaper. It's embarrassing because of the short age distance and that I shouldn't be bedwetting at this age. Anyways, let me tell you two embarrassing memories: The first one is when I ran out of diapers while she was here, so we had to go to the store and buy some more; but the store did not have Goodnites so we had to buy pull-ups nighttime training pants (they still fit since I'm really skinny) and it was humiliating. The second memory was when I pooped when I was asleep and she helped me change. In conclusion, you can tell I'm stuck in an extremely embarrassing situation for atleast 1 more year. I feel overly-babied and it's not fun. Anyways, I just wanted to share my story and see everyone's opinions on it.

Thank you for sharing your experiences. You should not bother about the age gap. And even it sounds not much five years is quite a big difference specially between 15 and 20. The most important thing is that she cares well for you and helps where she can. Don’t be upset when embarresing things happen. Wearing diapers means that those things can always happen.
I believe you should relax and trust your babysitter. She’s doing a good job I think.

Thank you for the advice, also is there anyway I can tell her how I feel about her babying me. For example, when I get changed she uses the terms "did you go poo poo or pee pee?" I just think it's very babyish.

Of course you can let her know that you don’t like her talking like this about it. Tell her that you find it babyish and that she use other words.
How would you like her to ask if your diaper is wet or messy ?

I would rather her not even ask; i would want her to just check my diaper, by smelling, feeling, and looking, when I'm asleep and try and change my pull-ups when asleep instead of waking me up and her asking if I "went potty in my pull-ups" or an even more embarrassing quote she says: "Baby, did you go pee or poo?". I genuinely think she say's things like this because she also babysits toddlers and infants, so she's used to talking "babyish".

Just curious if you are changed at night wouldn't it be easier if you were in a regular tape on diaper instead of a pull up style? That way she could change you much easier without having to wake you up. We do that with my son if we check on him before we go to bed and he is already wet. He never even wakes up but no way we could slide pull ups all the way on him with him asleep. With a diaper she could just raise your legs to slide it under.

I'm glad you asked, because my babysitter just mentioned that we try regular diapers instead of pull-ups! We are actually trying it tonight, since she is over today.

Yes, even with the pull-ups I had baby oil applied on my skin by my parents and babysitter! But now since I'm trying regular diapers, my babysitter has bought a rash cream with the baby oil.

I have hit puberty, so my pubic hair does get in the way of applying cream and oil easily, but it's honestly not that hard. I usually will rub it in myself, just to help with the diapering process; other than that it's no big issue at all.

Oh for sure! I already deal with enough embarrassment, I might as well try and make it as less embarrassing as possible. Being diapered at age 15, by a 20 year old woman is not fun at all.

Excuse me, but I have no idea what that even is. I do wet the the bed, and half the time I can't believe it is real either. And I very much wish that it was over and done with. Don't just assume things because a story isnt "believable" towards you. There are plenty of other things in this earth that aren't believable either, but are true. You don't gave to believe me, but I know it's true. I deal with it and I'm here looking for support.

Well we are going to try and get the brand Rearz since it's better suited for me than Pampers size 7. Also I discussed with them, and If I have to poop then we will take the diaper off no matter what. It is a huge mess, and just causes problems.
