Bedwetting Support Group
Bedwetting (or nocturnal enuresis or sleepwetting) is involuntary urination while asleep. It is the normal state of affairs in infancy, but can be a source of embarrassment when it persists into school age or the teen or adult years. Find others who are coping with a bedwetting problem and share your experiences and questions.

As I have gotten older bladder control has had it's ups and downs. Now it is not unusual to either wet the bed or get up a few times during the night.
I often wear diapers and plastic pants especially if I haven't been able to sleep well for a while. They do provide a much needed restful night.
Unfortunately daytime is starting to get worse and I often have damp underwear. Sometimes pads are worn, especially on long trips.
Going back into diapers is not what I want, but having been in them for many nights as a child, has made it easier to accept. I certainly knew the routine.
I pity those older folks that have this thrust upon them without any prior experience. So I guess what I am saying that having been a diapered bed wetting child kind of got be ready for the golden years . LOL
While bedwetting has been a constant, now that I have a diaper on during the day.. I wonder if my subconscious knows this and has relaxed its warning signals?
After some small accidents when away from home I started to go ahead and put on another diaper after getting cleaned up in the morning - just for peace of mind. I've realized how often I've needed it and it's become the routine now.
Joanne, do you have any insight on how you got to this point?
When I was in a college dorm it was quite easily discovered I wet at night but had the most awesome group of friends. They gave me the nickname puddles and just treated it as a matter of fact. When people than didn’t know me would ask why they called me puddles they would simply say because he wets his bed. They were actually defenders of mine and never allowed it to be any kind of deal at all. This allowed me to gain quite a bit of confidence which I somewhat lost when out of school. Long and short of it now I really don’t care who finds out what and hen they do I just tell them what my condition is. I rarely get any negative reaction besides people giving me advise like “ well I’m sure there’s something that can be done about that”. My doctor of course knows so I don’t care about diapers in my dr.s office. I also don’t care about taking off a wet diaper at my health club or putting on a dry one after my shower. I try and be discreet about it but even when other guys see it they naturally never say anything. After all what is someone going to say? Kind of like my college friends did, I’ve learned to treat it as unimportantly as they did. Makes life so much easier!
It happens to me quite a few nights a little more than once a week and I'm already 20 years old
does it happen to you very often?
