For people who sometimes feel a bit like a bloody banana! A place for validation, love, hope and warmth, a place for friendship and the sharing of dreams. A place always to feel safe and welcome..also a place for the occassional sprinkling of silliness to lighten the sometimes darkness of our days.
When I was a kid I took accordion lessons. My music teacher had a cat. He had recently adopted a little boy who could be a handful; the music school was in their house.
One day, the little boy put their cat in the fridge. When somebody opened the fridge door they were horrified at seeing a rigid cat.
The vet was called to the house right away; this was an emergency. The vet showed up quickly, examined the cat the cat thoroughly. He advised them to get a funnel & a small can filled w/ gasoline.
He then instructed them to pry the cat’s jaws open, put the funnel in its jaws and pour the gasoline down the cat’s throat.
The cat immediately shot across the kitchen floor, then stopped 2/3 of the way across the way.
