hi breand, it not as strong as what you get in the hsopital b/c it thru an iv.

I amd on the same was on 30 mgs and he just up to 60 mgs... is your ER that ectended released?? b.c if it is the pharmacy told me it take 3 hrs before it kicks in b/c it over the period time... if it not that it might started to effect ya in 30 mins or so.

You don't get the whole dose at once, and it is not as active orally as it is in a shot.

Hope you keep those breakthrough Lortab, because the M/S may easily fail to keep you going for 24 hours.

Ang, I took 1 pill today. fast shipping, but I am very discouraged. It has been 8 hours and no relief. I suppose it will keep me awake.
It is 30 mg. Tell me anythng I need to know.

hi brenda, that why i ask if your was aER it will say it rigt after the MS and if it is it slow released. amd it kick in for me 3 hrs. it dont last the sometimes it take time to get use to. i take mine every 8 hrs.

if it not ER then it should work quicker. also if not call ya dr and he migt go up. I never took lortab before, is it stroger??? i here. have a happy thankgiven... hope you feel better ang

It is ER every 12 hours. You know how you feel if you skip a night of sleep. It is not strong at all. Lortab made me get up and do something and this seems to make me tired.

If that is the case, I can't take it - I have things to do. Lortab is hydrocodone 10/325 and he had me up to 6 per day and I got clothes washed and things I had not wanted to do. Do you ever get a little buzz from this morphine. I know you are busy with TGiving.

well it depemnds om you system hun and if you been on stronger meds then i have then it might take long to get use to... i really never had sleep problems i always tired.. i have slepping issue,,, and on a cpap.... huggs hope you get some rst.. i think it anxiety b/c of new meds... hang in there keep me posted your friends... ang

I'd ask for percocet instead of that stuff, dont know why Drs wont prescribe it most of the time, it is stronger than hydrocodone and last longer plus for me easier on the stomach.NO sleep issues with it either. I was just recently put on oxycontin plus percocet for break thru pain. Most GP's wont prescribe much of anything, I go to a private practice orthopedic pain management specialist.Your body builds up tolerence to most things fairly quickly and lortabs maybe the fastest of them all. I really got more releif from percocets than anything until changed over to oxycontin which last about 8 hrs. If you were taking 6 lortabs a day and they didnt work for you then you sure need a change. Its all addictive no matter what you take, so get something that works for you, chronic pain only wears on you until its harder to get under control.I take a muscle relaxer as well called amrix which might help you and also helps you sleep. It might pay for you to find a private pain management Dr who understands and is humane enough to manage your pain. Good luck to you and check into this.

You seem to be the picture of a compliant patient. Tell the doc what you have told us, try to get 3-4 lortabs/day (ask for 4, they'll give you 3). That is not excessive. I just told mine Monday that the MS is not worth the effects.
