My mom has a Temperpedic (sp?) mattress and it is the best! As soon as I can afford one, I am going to get one. Mine is a Sealy Posturepedic, and it is good don't get me wrong, but my Mom's is the best!

I've had an "air bed" that has dual controls, but it's not the brand"sleep number." After about 8 years, it became lumpy. i don't know what caused it, unless there are baffles in it or something. the only way it feels unlumpy is if the air is pumped up to the max. but i don't like it that hard all the time. sometimes i like it a little softer. so i don't think i'd get another one. we were told to get one by the docs because my now late husband had broken his pelvis, and they thought it would be the best. I don't know what i'll get next, but the temperpedic sure sounds tempting.

I heard the number bed is awesome especially for back problems. I've had 3 back surgeries,so guess what is on my Christmas list........yeah, the number bed. Now this friend of mine did have problems and she had to end up buying several mattress but she is set for now. I'm not sure which one she bought. Hugs,Linda

People are always saying that a firm mattress is the best for your back - NOT MINE! After years of trying to be comfortable I bought a 3" memory foam topper and it is so gentle on my back. It relieves all the pressure points that irritate your spine. I have also recently been putting a pillow under my knees and find I am doing much better in the a.m. now. I did try my sisters # bed and didn't care for it.

well i cant afford them temp beds. i hav a stpuid coil, i have use a memeoy foam it always work. my too old over 10 yrs old. before my sury of gall bladder, i bought sma club it 2*3 inch thick and it nice. it makes me to hot.
i like to get me a memeory foam mattress if i can find one. woul l,ove to get one that you can raise up like a hoispital bed. that my dream cook in summer and warm in winter

Hey, Mattress Warehouse had an ad in paper today on tempurpedic mattress and beds. You might check those out. I ordered a topper from Healthy Foundations and I will get it next week. I will have to snag a man to get it in the house.
