i noticed the LSI from Florida is going around to different cities holding seminars on their outpatient procedures. Have any of you been or plan on going. They are going to be in Birningham in November. I would like to hear what they have to say but i can't go to Florida for the procedure.

id love to go to Flordia to the Institute, but i cant ride that long and im petrified to fly.

If you want to go to a seminar, there might be one in your area. Just go to LSI and there is a link to seminars. I really don't see any need to go if you have to go to Florida. The seminars are in a lot of cities; they must need new business.

F.Y.I. on the Spinal Institute in Fla...... They have a LOT of complaints with the Department of Health here in Florida due to bad practices. That is number one!

Number 2, if you don't have the cash to pay them up-front for the procedure you are SOOL! They only take cash upfront and then they will give you the forms for your insurance company to re-imburse you, and most ins. companies won't re-imburse you, because the clinic is in ALL kinds of trouble here in Florida.

Us Floridian's know how bad they are.... that is why they are now going "fishing" all over the USA, to try to find new fish to fool! Be very, very careful! Do your research, and do it independently of whatever they are telling you. That is all I have to say about that........

Thank you so much. i figured something was wrong to be going to so many cities. Would love to know what is going on. How could they do the procedures as outpatient like they say. Sure don't have that kind of money.

Only taking cash up-front sounds really shifty to me. Any respectable business would not do that. They would be able to work with the insurance company or you. Besides, if lasers really worked on back problems, wouldn't more physicians across the USA be doing it and you would be hearing a lot more about it?

Another thing....... Got the Florida Spine Institute website, check out the FAQ's (frequently asked questions) section and you will see what I am taking about..... Specially about insurance reimbursement, Medicare (they do not have a contract with them), and Workers Comp cases.. It is a freaking racquet!

And then check out the question were they talk about "Why is it that other Doctor's don't use laser procedures..." It will amaze you! The website has a bunch of red flags jumping right at the consumer!!!
