The last few days, I have been hurting, legs and feet hurting and I just hit the sofa. I am on perscoset and soma. It is that time to change insurance. Does Blue cross offer better pain medicine than HMO. I need a cook. Thank Goodness my poodle is house trained but she does not understand me.

I am sorry that you are feeling so bad, usually temperature changes will do that to us with chronic pain, also like you said; things could be getting a bit worse on your back. Have you call the Doctor? You are in a pretty low dose of pain medications, maybe he can up the dosage or change you to something that is extended release and better. MS Contin, Oxyxodone ER, Opana, Avinza, are some of the meds that come to mind that are extended release and can give you better pain control.
As far as insurance, did you get the "Medicare & You" booklet? If you did, go through the insurance companies on the pamphlet and choose the one that has better coverage. I usually choose the ones that have 5 stars, and I haven't had a problem. So choose carefully, and make sure that your pain management Doctor is in their list of providers, that is if you like him, if not find yourself a new one.
You can research all of these Medicare supplemental insurance companies online. You can look at their medications lists, what they cover, what they don't, etc. So start doing your homework, and choose wisely! Take care and I hope that you get better soon.
