Hello My name is TerrieAnn. I have been in severe chronic worsening lower back pain for 5 yrs now and the surgeon does not want to cut me yet and i dont want to be cut yet. I have been without a good internal med doc for over a year. The doc I am currently with is completely against me and my pain meds and has threatened to cut my scripts off at end of yr. if I don't find a new doc. she is only seeing me because my old long term doc was a collegue and she felt obligated for short term.I have called 50 diff docs in past month looking and all of them either say no new medicare patients or no long term narcoyic patients. I do not know what to do next except to look in phone book under 'a' to 'z'??? does anyone on this site live or know of any docs in this valley??? i am working toward the LifeTree PainClinic but even they will eventually send me back to my doc when I am stabalized on my meds.and I have no doc!!!

I would try and find a surgeon who will fix what ever is wrong it will probably be easier.
I have had 2 surgeries this year and i am doing better, but my doctors even after being my doctor for 20 years wants me off completely pain meds weather i am in pain or not. It is just how they are now a days she says she gets audited from time to time and they are all scared to loose their practices
